Tyler County has issued a Disaster Declaration Burn ban beginning at 9:00am today, July 21st, 2023. This ban will be in effect until rescinded.

The next few days are going to be incredibly hot. Be cautious while outside. Frequent fluids and breaks.

Today is going to be another scorcher. Remember with a heat advisory, the combined heat and humidity make almost unbearable to be outside. Just standing or walking can cause problems. If working take frequent breaks, drinks lots of water and get help if you start feeling lightheaded or sick. Late afternoon is the Worst part of the day.
Our area is expecting heat index in access 110 degrees today.
