American painter Anna Richards Brewster (1870–1952) was among the artists captivated by Tunisia in the early 20th century ✨
A traveler and observer of cultures, she brought a distinctly American perspective to the Mediterranean 🎨
In her painting of Sidi Bou Said, Brewster captures the village’s iconic white-and-blue architecture under luminous light ☀️ overlooking the sea 🌊
Her style blends impressionist influence with a vibrant, personal touch 🖌️
Through her work, Sidi Bou Said becomes a timeless scene of color 🎨 , light, and serenity.
