The First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, congratulated Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on the occasion of his re-election as Head of State of Türkiye.

Through Twitter, he wished him "success in his functions and we reiterate our willingness to continue promoting the ties of friendship and cooperation between both countries".

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, described this day of national elections as transcendental.

He assured that voting for all is voting for an Assembly of People's Power that reflects its noble, revolutionary and patriotic people.

"My vote is for the homeland, to continue building a more just and democratic socialist society, and for the continuity of the Revolution," the foreign minister wrote on Twitter.
