Today, the State Visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, commenced with a grand official welcoming ceremony at Tiananmen Square in Beijing.
The distinguished guest, the Head of State of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, was warmly received by the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, and invited to the honorary podium. The official reception continued with the line-up of the Guard of Honor units, the playing of the national anthems of Tajikistan and China, a march past the ranks of officers and soldiers, the paying of respects to the national flag of the People's Republic of China, and the mutual introduction of the official delegations of both sides. In honor of the high-ranking guest, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, a 21-gun salute was fired in accordance with state visit protocol.

On May 5, the Chairman of the Majlisi milli of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Chairman of the city of Dushanbe, honorable Rustam Emomali, took part in the presentation of 30 new electric buses from the company “Akia Avesto Automotive Industry” in Dushanbe city. It should be noted that, to date, 60 electric buses have already been purchased from this company and are currently operating on the capital’s routes.
The joint company “Akia Avesto Automotive Industry” began its operations in January 2018 with the assembly and production of modern “AKIA” brand buses and is contributing to the country’s accelerated industrialization.

It brought together States and partners to shape a shared ambition and an initial framework for preparation.
The Water Conference in Dushanbe continues this process, providing both regional and global contributions to the “roadmap” from Senegal to the United Arab Emirates. The outcomes of the discussions in Dushanbe will be taken into account in the further preparations for the conference in the United Arab Emirates in December 2026.

Подготовительная встреча высокого уровня в Дакаре в январе 2026 года стала ключевым этапом на пути к Водной конференции ООН 2026 года, способствуя согласованию подходов вокруг тем интерактивных диалогов. Она объединила государства и партнёров для формирования общей амбиции и предварительного плана подготовки.

Водная кКонференция в Душанбе логически продолжает этот путь, обеспечивая региональный и глобальный вклад в «дорожную карту» от Сенегала к ОАЭ. Результаты обсуждений в Душанбе будут учтены в дальнейшей подготовке к конференции в Объединённых Арабских Эмиратах в декабре 2026 года.
