The "MIZRAK Smart Loitering Munition," developed by Baykar, has garnered significant attention in the Israeli press. Distinguished by its range exceeding 1000 kilometers and its AI-powered autonomous capabilities, the system is being closely monitored in terms of regional balances.
**EMPHASIS ON "1000 KM RANGE WEAPON"**
Tel Aviv-based Nziv, in its article titled "1000 km range weapon: Turkey raises the threat level for Israel," stated:
"Turkish company Baykar has introduced Ankara's groundbreaking new munition called MIZRAK. This munition represents a significant advancement in Türkiye's military capabilities and has strategic implications for the region
OPERATIONAL DEPTH STRATEGY
The article highlighted MIZRAK's range exceeding 1000 kilometers and its flight time of 7+ .
"This development is part of Türkiye's 'operational depth' strategy, which aims to conduct precision strikes far beyond its borders without needing manned fighter jets or forward bases. New systems like the MIZRAK and K2 kamikaze UAVs seem designed to change the face of asymmetric warfare and solidify Türkiye's strong influence in the Middle East and Africa."
"ISRAEL WITHIN DIRECT RANGE" ASSESSMENT
Israeli media claimed that this move by Türkiye in the defense industry increases the threat level:
"If properly positioned, within a range of 1,000 km, the entirety of Israel falls within Türkiye's direct strike range."
EMPHASIS ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND SWARM TECHNOLOGY
The news report highlighted the system's AI-powered navigation capabilities, making the following assessment:
"It would be very difficult for the Israeli army to counter such technology. The Turks could render the Iron Dome defenseless with swarm technology. Considering that Baykar is the world's largest UAV exporter, the fact that countries hostile to Tel Aviv possess these systems could become a difficult knot for us to untangle."

Turkey Has Just Redefined The Future Of Air Warfare 🇹🇷✈️
Turkey has achieved a global aviation milestone by flying two jet-powered unmanned combat aircraft fully autonomously in close formation — something never publicly demonstrated before at fighter-jet speeds.
These weren’t slow reconnaissance drones. They were AI-driven, jet-powered UCAVs coordinating their flight without direct human control, sharing data in real time to maintain position, speed, and maneuver accuracy.
📊 Key Capabilities
✈️ Jet-powered flight: Near-supersonic (~Mach 0.8)
🧠 AI autonomy: Real-time coordination & decision-making
🛬 Autonomous operations: Takeoff, landing, and formation flying
🤖 Mission-ready: Designed for air-to-air, strike, and cooperative combat roles
🚢 Advanced design: Built for future carrier-based operations

Bayraktar TB3, first in the world, demonstrated the power of the Turkish defense industry at sea by taking off and landing fully autonomously from TCG Anadolu. Equipped with ASELSAN radar systems, the TB3 also made a great impression in the international press. It was emphasized that the systems used in the TB3 are not even available in the helicopters on the British Navy's second Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales.

💪 Baykar Technology Leader Selçuk Bayraktar stated that the UAVs produced by Turkey do not need to be compared with the UAVs produced by other countries and said, "Turkish unmanned aerial vehicles are the best in the world."
In an interview with Qatar-based Al Jazeera television, Selçuk Bayraktar talked about the domestic technology, Turkey's story of developing UAVs and his role in the new generation of UAVs.
Bayraktar said that they took the first step with a small project to produce airplanes that can fly automatically, and that they first started the production of UAVs in a small workshop.
Selçuk Bayraktar stated that they started the Bayraktar TB2 UCAV project in 2010, and that it was added to the inventory of the Armed Forces in 2014 as a result of the work of the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries.
"TB2s were really successful in the fight against terrorism and in operations outside Turkey," Bayraktar said.
Stating that they started the Akıncı Attack Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (TİHA) in 2016, Bayraktar said, "Akıncı drones are large aircraft, carrying 100 computers. TB2s, on the other hand, carry 40 computers."
Selçuk Bayraktar summarized the secret of Turkey's transformation in the defense industry over the past 20 years as "dedication to work and the will for getting rid of dependence on the foreign countries' systems".
Reminding that his country was 85 percent dependent on foreign countries in the past in the field of defense industry, Bayraktar stated that Turkey has now become self-reliant.
Stating that all business designs and main components are developed in the country, Bayraktar emphasized as well that Turkey no longer is subjected to foreign countries in terms of securing materials or main components in the field of defence industry, and said, "All computers and electronic software are locally produced."
Bayraktar pointed out that the field of unmanned aerial vehicles industry is occupied by the US, China and Israel, but Turkey is in the top three in the world.
Bayraktar said, "Europe does not have platforms comparable to , currently UCAVs are exported to European countries."
