Ambassador Da Cruz recently visited MEXT Technology Center in Istanbul.
Established in 2020 by the Turkish Employers’ Association of Metal Industries, MEXT is a digital, green and AI transformation and capability-building center.

Büyükelçi Da Cruz geçtiğimiz günlerde MEXT Teknoloji Merkezi’ni ziyaret etti.
2020'de Türkiye Metal Sanayicileri Sendikası tarafından kurulan MEXT, sanayide dijital dönüşüm ve sürdürülebilirlik odaklı faaliyet gösteren dijital dönüşüm ve yetkinlik gelişim merkezlerinden biridir.

Ambassador Da Cruz recently visited CARE Türkiye's "Women Lead in Emergencies" project in Hatay province, where he had the opportunity to meet women from both host communities and Syrian refugee communities in Reyhanlı.
The project, supported by the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, is helping women strengthen their leadership, develop new skills and create sustainable economic opportunities in the aftermath of the 2023 earthquake.

Büyükelçi Da Cruz, geçtiğimiz günlerde Hatay ilinde CARE Türkiye'nin “Acil Durumlarda Kadın Liderliği” projesini ziyaret etti ve bu ziyaret sırasında Reyhanlı'da hem ev sahibi topluluklardan hem de Suriyeli mülteci topluluklarından kadınlarla bir araya gelme fırsatı buldu.
Lüksemburg Dışişleri ve Avrupa İşleri, Savunma, Kalkınma İşbirliği ve Dış Ticaret Bakanlığı tarafından desteklenen proje, 2023 depreminin ardından kadınların liderlik becerilerini güçlendirmelerine, yeni beceriler kazanmalarına ve sürdürülebilir ekonomik fırsatlar yaratmalarına yardımcı oluyor.

Dans le cadre du mois de la Francophonie, le groupe des ambassadeurs francophones en Turquie ont participé à un atelier de macarons organisé par l'Institut français de Turquie en collaboration avec le département de gastronomie de l'université Başkent. Les ambassadeurs ont été accueillis par le fondateur de l’université Başkent M. Mehmet Haberal et le recteur de l’université M. Hakan Özkardeş.

Frankofoni ayı kapsamında, Fransız Kültür Merkezi Başkent Üniversitesi Gastronomi Bölümü ile birlikte bir makaron atölyesi düzenledi. Atölyeye Frankofon ülkelerin büyükelçileri katıldı. Büyükelçileri, Başkent Üniversitesi kurucusu Prof. Dr. Mehmet Haberal ve üniversite rektörü Prof. Dr. Hakan Özkardeş ağırladı.

Ambassador Daniel Da Cruz paid a courtesy visit to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Levent Gümrükçü.

Büyükelçi Daniel Da Cruz Dışişleri Bakan Yardımcısı Büyükelçi Levent Gümrükçü’ye nezaket ziyaretinde bulundu.

On this day three years ago, was devastated by a terrible earthquake. We honour the memory of the victims and our thoughts are with their families and loved ones.

Right after the earthquake not only provided financial and logistical support but also deployed the satellite platform in the affected areas to help restore communication services.
