From Karsu, Ottoman tulips, and Delft Blue tiles in Istanbul to the Bergama Carpet in Pieter de Hooch’s 17th-century painting, the exhibition brings the shared heritage of our countries and people to life.

In honour of the 400 years of Netherlands - Levantine trade connection, the exhibition pays special attention to the history of the Levant and the presence of the Dutch in İzmir and İstanbul throughout centuries.🌊

As today marks International Cat Day, we are excited to invite you to the launch of Dutch photographer Marcel Heijnen’s () newest book, celebrating Istanbul’s beloved street and shop cats, graceful wanderers who embody the city’s soul and are treated as part of the community.
