The Barataria Regional Complex in collaboration with HOPE Worldwide T&T and Create Better Minds conducted Mental Health First Responder Training on September 30th, 2023. 50 volunteers were trained at this event.

Understanding the Difference Between Mental Health and Mental Illness is very important. Everyone has mental health, but not everyone receives a diagnosis involving a mental illness. Mental health includes your overall well-being. Mental illnesses are diagnosable mental health conditions.
