Seafood Industry Development Company Limited (SIDC)

A State-Owned company under the Ministry of Food Production with the mandate to develop the local seafood industry

The Seafood Industry Development Company (SIDC) is a State entity established in 2006 under the Ministry of Trade and Industry by the government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. As a Project Implementation Agency, our mandate is to partner with all stakeholders to ensure that the seafood industry of Trinidad and Tobago attains viability on a sustainable basis in the shortest possible time. In November 2011 the SIDC became a part of the Ministry of Food Production.
