🌟 CAREER DAY 2026 – DREAM BIG, LITTLE ONES! 🌟

Yesterday, Egypt Village Government Primary came alive with big dreams, bright smiles and endless possibilities! 💙✨

Our students had the opportunity to explore a variety of careers, including nurses, firefighters, dentists, chefs, mechanics, oil and gas experts, police officers, EMTs, insurance professionals, hairdressers, barbers, nail technicians, estheticians and many more!

From dressing up as their future selves to learning about the many ways they can contribute to society, our students were reminded that every dream is worth pursuing, and every career has the power to make a difference! 🌱👩‍⚕️👨‍🚒👨‍🍳

A heartfelt thank you to all our career presenters, guidance councillors, teachers and supporters who helped make this day meaningful and memorable. Together, we are inspiring the next generation of dreamers, leaders and changemakers! 💫

At Egypt Village Government Primary, we don't just teach children to dream....we encourage them to believe they can achieve! 💙

As we celebrate Republic Day on September 24th, we honour the historic moment when Trinidad and Tobago became a Republic and embraced the responsibility of shaping its own future.

This special day reminds us that building a strong nation requires unity, respect, courage and active citizenship. May we continue to instil these values in our children and inspire them to contribute positively to their school, community and country.

✨ A NEW LOOK FOR A NEW SCHOOL YEAR! ✨
🎒📚 Egypt Village Government Primary School | 2026–2027 📚🎒

There’s something special about the beginning of a new academic year, the excitement of new beginnings, new goals, new friendships…....and this year, a brand-new school uniform! 💙🩶🤍

As our students proudly stepped through the gates of Egypt Village Government Primary this week for the start of the 2026–2027 academic year, they brought with them a fresh new look that represents pride, unity, confidence and a new chapter in our school’s journey. 🌟

Our new uniforms give our students a smart, polished and distinctive appearance while reminding us that, although each child is wonderfully unique, we are all part of one school family. 🏫❤️
From the carefully designed details to the school monogram proudly displayed on the uniform, every element reflects the identity of Egypt Village Government Primary School and the sense of belonging we hope every student carries with them each day.

👧🏽 Our girls proudly wear their new dark grey uniforms, complemented by their black ribbons and school monogram.

👦🏽 Our boys step out smartly in their new uniforms with their black ties, creating a neat and confident appearance.

And while the uniforms may be new, the values they represent remain the same:
🌟 Respect
🌟 Discipline
🌟 Responsibility
🌟 Confidence
🌟 Pride in ourselves and our school

As our students continue to learn, grow, explore and discover their potential, may they wear their uniforms with pride and purpose—remembering that they represent not only themselves, but also their families, their teachers and the Egypt Village Government Primary School community.
Here’s to new uniforms, new beginnings, new dreams and another wonderful year of learning! 🎓📖✨

Welcome to the 2026–2027 academic year, Egypt Village Government Primary! 💙

🇹🇹❤️🖤 Happy Independence Day, Trinidad and Tobago! 🖤❤️🇹🇹

Today, August 31st, we proudly celebrate the Independence of Trinidad and Tobago, achieved on August 31, 1962.

As we raise our national colours and celebrate the rich culture, diversity and spirit of our twin-island nation, let us remember that independence comes with responsibility. It is our duty to build a country founded on unity, respect, tolerance, discipline and love for one another.

To our students, parents, staff and the wider Egypt Village community: may we continue to teach our children to appreciate where we came from, take pride in who we are, and play their part in shaping a brighter Trinidad and Tobago.

Together We Aspire, Together We Achieve. 🇹🇹✨

Happy 64th Independence Day!

Dear Parents, Guardians and Members of the Egypt Village Community,
As you are already aware, Egypt Village Government Primary School will be introducing changes to our school uniforms. We would like to provide some additional information to clarify a few questions regarding the new uniforms.
👧🏽 GIRLS’ UNIFORM
• 🎀 The ribbons are BLACK in colour.
• 👗 The uniform fabric is DARK GREY.
• 🏫 The school logo will be embroidered on the LEFT SIDE of the overall.
• ❌ There is NO pocket on the overall.

👦🏽 BOYS’ UNIFORM
• 👔 The boys’ ties are BLACK in colour.
• Parents have the option of choosing either an elastic style around the neck or a traditional tie.

We hope this update helps to answer some of the questions and provides clarity as preparations are made for the new uniforms.

🇹🇹 Happy Emancipation Day! 🇹🇹

Today, we the people of Trinidad and Tobago come together to celebrate Emancipation Day, a day that marks the end of slavery in the British Empire on August 1, 1834. It is a time to honour the courage, resilience, and sacrifices of our African ancestors, whose strength and determination helped shape the nation we proudly call home.

Emancipation Day also reminds us of the importance of freedom, equality, respect, and unity. As we recognise our rich cultural heritage, let us encourage our children to learn from our history, appreciate the diversity of our people, and continue building a society rooted in compassion, understanding, and justice.

On this special day, Egypt Village Government Primary School extends warm Emancipation Day greetings to our students, parents, staff, alumni, and the wider community. May we continue to celebrate our heritage with pride and pass its lessons on to future generations.
