The Port-of-Spain Corporation Interdepartmental Cricket Tournament concluded with an excellent turnout and a high level of competition.
While the matches were keenly contested, the event was defined by great sportsmanship and camaraderie among all the participating departments.

The Transport Warriors successfully defended their title to become back-to-back champions, putting on a dominant display throughout the tournament to lift the trophy without losing a single match. They defeated a strong Central Market team, which took home a well-deserved second place after a hard-fought final. In the third-place playoff, Litter Cart secured its spot on the podium by defeating City Police.

A special thank you to our sponsors, West Bees Supermarket and Spektakula Promotions, for their support of this event.
We also appreciate the players, organizers, and supporters who attended and contributed to the tournament's success.

Clean Streets, Proud City in Action:

Today, as part of the Clean Streets, Proud City initiative, the Port-of-Spain Corporation is conducting a clean-up blitz in the Southern Port-of-Spain district.

This operation will continue into Woodbrook tomorrow.
Our teams are working throughout the district to clear debris, dried foliage, and garbage.

Do Your Part for Proper Disposal
A cleaner city starts with all of us.
To assist our teams today and tomorrow, please do not dump old furniture, appliances, or bulk items on the roadside. Instead, contact the Corporation to schedule a bulk waste pickup.
For daily trash, please secure your regular household waste in sturdy, tied bags to prevent litter from scattering, and keep your dried foliage and yard clippings separated from your regular garbage.

Let's work together to keep our neighborhoods beautiful, healthy, and safe.
