The Disaster Management Unit, continues its Comprehensive Disaster Preparedness Training with government and private agencies across the Port of Spain district.

Participants gained valuable knowledge on:
โœ… The importance of disaster preparedness
โœ… Pre- and post-event recovery strategies for home & office
โœ… Fire suppression techniques
โœ… CPR & life-saving skills
โœ… Light search and rescue
โœ… Scene assessment, and more

With both theory and hands-on training, participants are now better equipped to protect lives and property in times of emergency.

Building a Safer POS! Public Transport Service Corporation ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡น

The Disaster Management Unit, has kicked off its Comprehensive Disaster Preparedness Training for government and private agencies across the Port of Spain district!

Participants were taught on the importance of disaster preparedness, post and pre event strategies for home and office recover, Fire suppression, CPR, Light search and rescue, scene assessment and more. Participants also received hands-on training in essential life-saving skills.

A fallen tree at Fatima College is currently blocking the main entrance.

The Port of Spain Disaster Management Unit, along with the Port of Spain Parks and Squares Division, has been activated and is on-site cutting and removing the tree to restore safe access.
