From 26-30 May 2026, the Hon. Mr Justice Winston Anderson, President, travelled to at the invitation of the Hon. Chief Justice Antonio Benjamin of the Supreme Court of Brazil to participate in the Pre-Congress Meeting and the International Congress on the Rule of Law and Judicial Ethics. On 29 May, President Anderson participated in a roundtable discussion on the topic “Adaptation and Revision of the Bangalore Principles” and on 01 June, he participated in a roundtable discussion on judicial independence.

On 25 May 2026, representatives from the Ministry of Justice, , paid a courtesy call on the Hon. Mr Justice Winston Anderson, President of the . During the visit, they engaged in discussions on the Court’s role in advancing the rule of law and justice across the Caribbean. The delegation also attended the judgment delivery in Derek Ramsamooj v The State of Suriname, which they described as a powerful reminder of the vital importance of regional judicial institutions such as the CCJ.
