Today, Sangre Grande Public Library joins communities around the world in celebrating World Animal Day, observed annually on October 4.

This year’s theme, “See the World Through Their Eyes,” encourages us to look beyond our own perspective and consider the world as animals experience it. From the pets who share our homes to the wildlife of our forests, rivers and oceans, every animal deserves kindness, respect, protection and a safe place to call home. 💚🐕🐈🦜🐢

Let us continue to promote compassion, responsible care and the protection of animals and their natural habitats. Small acts of kindness can help create a better world for every living creature.
