💜The first ever Health and Safety, Beauty and Business Fair in Sangre Grande was hosted on March 8th, 2022, by Xtra Foods, Sangre Grande Regional Corporation and Local Economic Development Sangre Grande in celebration of International Women's Day.

In attendance as specially invited guests and speakers were Mr. Daniel Austin, Group Marketing Manager Xtra Foods; Ms. Betty Ann Dial - CEO of the Sangre Grande Regional Corporation; , Mr. Anil Juteram, Chairman Sangre Grande Regional Corporation; Mr. Roger Monroe, Member of Parliament for Toco/Sangre Grande; Mrs. Indra Sinanan Ojah-Maharaj, Assistant Secretary, Sangre Grande Chamber of Commerce and Ms. Nathalie Martina Harris from the Virago Group.

Entrepreneurs, Mrs. Merissa Wright-Garib, owner of Pheniques Enterprise and Mrs. Kaaren Briggs, owner of Kaaren's Karibbean Katering Services both shared their inspirational stories on how to become a successful entrepreneur.

Entertainment was also provided by two very talented female singers, Ms. Claire Williams and Ms. Asha Persad both from Sangre Grande as well as steel pan entertainment from Mr. Kelly Matthews and Hilltoppers Steelpan Academy.

Beautiful Decor was provided by Ms. Earlyn Williams.

On Wednesday February 23rd, 2022, Chairman Anil Juteram participated in a cleanup exercise at Galera Beach, Toco, hosted by The CEPEP Company Limited.

Also in attendance were Minister of Housing and Urban Development and Member of Parliament for Arima - Honourable Penelope Beckles, Member of Parliament for Toco/Sangre Grande - Roger Munroe, the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, other executives and employees of CEPEP, representative of the Office of the Councillor for Valencia East/Toco and employees of the Sangre Grande Regional Corporation.

Chairman Juteram was pleased to witness and lend assistance to the extensive cleaning of Galera Beach in an effort to preserve and protect our natural environment.
