Construction at Faraja Orphanage Children’s Center is progressing well. Today volunteers worked alongside the fundis to install grill windows and begin setting up toilet chambers at the back of the building.

Each step is turning the space into a safer and more dignified home for the children.

With every milestone, the vision of a complete and welcoming center comes closer. It’s a reminder that small efforts joined together create lasting change for the little ones who call this place home.

A Day at MatoloLavella Visionary Leadership Academy

The pace of progress here is truly inspiring. The team is now completing the roof of the very first building, which will soon welcome our youngest students.

This school is designed to go beyond traditional academics. It will equip children in our communities with practical knowledge and skills in self-reliance, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and other forms of relevant education that will help them understand their environment and thrive to their fullest potential.

Every step forward has been made possible through the dedication of volunteers from around the world, who bring energy, passion, and a sense of ownership to this vision. For this, we are deeply grateful.

Yet, this journey is far from over. Construction is ongoing, and every day brings new possibilities. Each brick laid is not just part of a building, but part of a future being built.

We invite individuals and organizations who believe in the power of education and collective effort to walk with us because together, we are shaping tomorrow.

Today was a beautiful reminder of what community means; walking into different homes, hearing stories that shape our neighborhood, and sharing necessities that make a difference.
