It’s in a lush green valley, down a dirt road away from the main town. The orphanage is currently home to 55 children, aged between 1 and 14 years old.
The Shalom Orphanage Centre is located in a small town called Karatu in Tanzania which is about a two hour drive from the airport, and very close to the Ngorongoro Crater safari destination. It was founded by Mama Nnko in 2004 and has grown a lot since then. Subject: Urgent Help Needed for Vulnerable Children**
Dear Friends,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart to seek your support for a group of vulnerable children who are in desperate need of help.
These children come from a single family, and it is feared that nearly all of them are affected by HIV/AIDS. Among them are twins and a one-month-old baby who cannot drink cow's milk and relies on Lactogen formula, which costs 36,000 TZS and lasts only three days. Their mother struggles with severe alcoholism, and each child has a different father, none of whom are known. Tragically, the mothers of the other two children have passed away.
These children have been brought to the orphanage for assistance, but the resources are limited. We urgently need your help to provide them with essential supplies such as diapers, formula milk, and other necessities to ensure they do not suffer any further.
