High Commission of India organised India Tanzania Economic symposium at Arusha city, 2nd biggest economic hub of Tanzania. It was a huge success with participation of over 100 prominent business persons including Regional Commissioner of Arusha Hon John Mongella, MP Arusha Hon Mrisho Gambo, Chairman ECCIA Hon Toufiq Salim Turky; Chairman Tanzania India Business Forum Mr Gagan Gupta, President TCCIA Arusha Mr W. Maeda, VP TCCIA Mr Clement Bocco.

All speakers spoke about opportunities to expand trade and economic engagement between India and Tanzania. Prominent business persons from Arusha gave valuable suggestions.

Spoke through virtual mode at the “Study in India: Diplomatic Conclave” organised in New Delhi by EDCIL & StudyInIndia.org ; gave an account of how Indian “affordable & high quality” higher education is popular among Tanzanian students & parents ; how alumni are holding high positions in Govt, Private sector, business and public life

Spoke at the Interactive Session with Chemical Importers of Tanzania ; a hybrid program organised with Chemexcil and Tanzania Chemical Association. Major importers of different chemicals from Tanzania spoke and interacted with exporters from India.

India is a major exporter of all kinds of chemical to Tanzania. There is good scope for enhancing exports and invest in Tanzania in this segment.
