Finishing second in one of the world’s most prestigious marathons, the 🇺🇸 2026 Boston Marathon, Simbu clocked an impressive 2:02:47, setting a new Tanzanian national record. This remarkable achievement is a proud moment for Tanzania and an inspiration to athletes everywhere.

Ubalozi wa Marekani Dar es Salaam utauza kwa mnada magari, vifaa vya TEHAMA, samani, na vifaa vya nyumbani. Mnada huo utafanyika Jumamosi, Aprili 25, 2026, kuanzia saa 3:00 asubuhi, katika ukumbi wa Universal Auction Center (Golden Resort), Mtaa wa Lion, Sinza, Dar es Salaam.

Bidhaa zote zitauzwa “k**a zilivyo” bila dhamana yoyote. Ushuru na kodi zote zitakuwa jukumu la mnunuzi. Bidhaa zinaweza kukaguliwa siku za Alhamisi, Aprili 23, na Ijumaa, Aprili 24, kuanzia saa 4:00 asubuhi hadi saa 11:00 jioni, katika ukumbi wa Golden Resort.

The US Embassy Dar es Salaam will have an auction to sell surplus vehicles, IT equipment, furniture, and appliances. It will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9 a.m. at Universal Auction Center (Golden Resort), Lion Street, Sinza, Dar es Salaam.

All items are sold on “as is” basis with no guarantee. Duty and all taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. Interested individuals may preview the items on Thursday, April 23, and Friday, April 24, between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Golden Resort.

Applications are now open for the 2027–2028 Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program for Tanzanian citizens under 35. This fully funded 9-month exchange, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, allows participants to teach Swahili at U.S. universities, improve their English skills, and gain valuable cultural and professional experience.
