Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) supports sustainable development in Tanzania

GIZ opened an office in Dar es Salaam in 1982 and to date exhibits sound development cooperation between Tanzania and Germany. The office maintains a highly motivated workforce of 32 seconded staff and 131 national personnel, 10 development workers and 15 CIM experts. Besides Dar es Salaam and Arusha (EAC), GIZ’s activities are concentrated in the Lindi, Mbeya, Mtwara and Tanga regions.
