Voice Giving is a youth-led Tanzanian organization that works to bring awareness to society about environmental conservation, women’s empowerment, and educational improvement particularly for people with low self-esteem.
Together, we created projects to clean our community and spread awareness on surrounding environmental issues. The first initiative, the Bus Stop Cleaning Project, allowed youth to take ownership over their community and feel proud of their surroundings by taking part in cleaning and raising awareness for other community to see that it is part of their duty to care about their environment.
Voice Giving is a unique organization because we are entirely youth-led and using social media to tell the world about our dreams by promoting projects that are “simple to implement and profound in impact”

■ Summary of the Hidden Eco-hero's activity
The bus stop cleaning project, which is his activity it bring awareness to community on how to live on free clean world and to shift the mindset of the community by making the environment clean, this was started by Shafii bringing together youth from secondary schools to local bus stops and clean them and talking with people on the bus stop why it is important to use trash bins. Up to know he is working with the team in his organization and the achievement are big because they have done 24 bus stops last year and people they start to use their bins and remember not to let anyone to put trash down. This has never been done before in Dar es Salaam because people believe it is the Government job so the approach is so different.
