⚖️February 20 is World Day of Social Justice. At TCRO we do not just talk about justice, we train young people to argue for it, question it, defend it, and define it for themselves as they prepare to be the leaders of tomorrow.

🔺On Saturday, we went to St. Augustine, Tagaste, for an initial training session all about the Rhetorical Triangle: Pathos, Logos, Ethos. It was amazing to see how engaged they were!
Everyone was raising their hands, eager to chip in, and wanted to practice using the triangle with different public speaking topics. It was fun, interactive, and we can’t wait to be back!

We hosted Principals & Senior Administrators from more than 20 schools in our network for a workshop on “Debate as a Core Curricular Activity”.
Coach Ed Williams taught on the importance of integrating debate into the learning process. Post workshop, administrators expressed a great desire to establish or scale up their debate programs.
We are also happy to announce that we have signed an MOU with the Harvard Debate Council to help equip teachers and students. We are looking forward to what the partnership will bring.
