On 20 October, we celebrated a successful opening screening of A Land Apart, winner of Best Feature Film at ZIFF 2026, at Alliance Française in Dar es Salaam! 🎬

Celebrating the power of cinema to connect Europe and Tanzania through cultural exchange, this year's programme explores the theme “Connecting Ecosystems: From the Digital Frontier to the Human Territory,” bringing fresh perspectives on technology, people and our environment. 🌍

Meet Neema Mollel, who completed an MA in International Development at University College Dublin, Ireland, in 2022–2023.

Beyond the classroom, the experience brought lasting friendships and professional connections who continue to shape her journey.

Today, based in Dar es Salaam, Neema works with a nonprofit helping talented young people access higher education, while staying connected with Ireland’s alumni community Embassy of Ireland in Tanzania and sharing experiences with incoming fellows.
