HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY TO OUR OWN PEOPLE ON OUR OWN LAND💙💛
And you know what I want to say the most today?
Independence is not a holiday! IT'S YOUR CHARACTER! Because a state can be voted on with one vote, but to remain a state when for centuries they try to convince you that you don't exist at all - that's a completely different story!
Today, the whole world sees that for the right to have our own flag, our own language, our own borders, and to decide for ourselves who to live with and where to go, we are again paying the highest price - OUR PEOPLE ON THE FRONTLINE, OUR volunteers, OUR civilians🌺
AND INDEPENDENCE TODAY AT THIS MOMENT:
Wears armor
Fights with a drone
Takes turns in the trench
Donates the last two hundred hryvnias
Waits for release from captivity
Learns to live after an injury
Gives birth to children under sirens
And stubbornly plans the future where the enemy planned to leave ruins.
You can argue about presidents, governments, generals, and politicians, you can hate the government, you can demand answers - and this, by the way, is also INDEPENDENCE🌼
But there is one thing for which there will be no compromise:
🇺🇦Ukraine is not up for discussion!
🇺🇦Not for sale!
🇺🇦Not for exchange!
🇺🇦Not "part of the equation"!
🇺🇦And no one else is asking for permission to BE!
Happy Independence Day, my stubborn country of OURS.
Your FUTURE is very dear to us!
That's why we will never give you to anyone🇺🇦
