Russia continues to target Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, leaving towns and villages across the Zhytomyr region without electricity.

We’re grateful that our SMU centers are equipped with generators. We’ve completed their maintenance checks to help ensure our centers can keep serving their communities, even when the lights go out.💡

Today, we honor the defenders of Ukraine.

We are deeply grateful to every man and woman who stands on the front lines, protects others, and carries the weight of this war.

Many of them were once teachers, farmers, drivers, builders, business owners, fathers, mothers — ordinary people with ordinary lives.

May God strengthen you, protect you, and give you courage and peace. And may He comfort every family waiting and praying for their loved ones.

At the SMU Community Center in Zhytomyr, professional psychologists are here for people who are going through difficult times and need support.

We’re grateful to have a team that helps people find strength, process what they’ve been through, and move forward. ❤️

As Russia continues to target food warehouses and supplies across Ukraine, preparing for winter means thinking ahead and making the most of what we have.

At our Pulyny and Vygoda Community Centers, we grow our own food, preserve what we can, and work together to make sure our communities are ready for challenges the winter may bring.

The summer camp season came and went in the blink of an eye. ☀️

We’ll miss the daily laughter, conversations, games, and all the little moments that made this summer so special.

But we’re not saying goodbye — our centers are moving into a new season of weekly meetings and clubs! 🍂

We’re grateful to keep creating spaces where children can learn, connect, and simply be children.

As we begin this season, we pray for peace, protection, and safety for every participant. 🙏🇺🇦

🇺🇦 Ukraine’s Independence Day is more than just a date.

It is a story written by generations of Ukrainians — a story we continue to write today.

Freedom is what Ukrainians fight, pray, and sacrifice for every single day.

Even in the hardest times, we see something powerful: our people choosing courage over fear, love over hatred, and hope over despair.

Today, we remember those who have paid the highest price for freedom, and we pray for those who continue to defend it.

We continue to believe that darkness does not get the final word!

To everyone around the world who prays for Ukraine—THANK YOU! Your prayers mean more than you know. 🇺🇦🙏
