In session Two of our Like Skills Program, We focused on Stress and Anxiety Management. When we are dealing with our own stress as parents, never forget that children also get stressed.
For example I learnt from one of the children that whenever her baby brother cries especially at night, it takes away her peace. She becomes anxious. So parents need to engage children and help them to open up.

Covid-19
counseling session for some of our teenagers. Miss Jesca employs Patience who is currently out of school because of the lockdown. By employing he she has created a safe space for her. She visited our office having had about our programs. We are glad that our humble initiative is beginning to gain traction within the community.

In this video, i interacted with patience a 15 year old senior two student. She tells me 3 of her friends are pregnant.
A temporary job in a food kiosk has distracted her from the pressures of men. Maybe she could have befallen the same fate.
Such are the kind of children we interface with and our role is to guide and mentor.
