This morning we had this wonderful guest at the Head office of the National Unity Platform . We met this gentleman called Musa when we went to Bududa for the burial event of the late father to our Eastern Regional Deputy President, Hon. Nambeshe. At the event, he was extremely delighted to see me, and even with his speech impairment, he kept trying to shout . Was delighted to hand over several items to him this morning, contributed by friends, including a wheelchair and other household items. Like I always say, let's continue to do everything possible to help those in need especially in this Holy month of Ramadan, and to build one united and strong family.

Our leaders from Northern Uganda have today addressed the media about the ongoing attacks and killing of civilians in Karamoja region. They are concerned that Government seems to have abandoned them and has instead resorted to empty rhetoric that neither takes responsibility nor addresses the root cause of the problem. They have also used the same occasion to pay respects to the late Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Jacob Oulanyah.
