THE FORGE OF NATIONS & THE BRIDGE TO UGANDA'S FUTURE.

"Mentorship remains the most powerful instrument at our disposal to shape the destiny we desire for future generations." Across politics, business, entertainment, agriculture, academia, spirituality and even the military, the need for principled guidance is undeniable. Nations are not built by chance; they are molded by visionary leaders who invest in people. In this regard, `we extend our profound gratitude to Chairman Odrek Rwabwogo for championing a national mentorship agenda that is steadily shaping Uganda’s tomorrow.`

History is our greatest teacher. The sacrifices & struggles of leaders like; Julius Nyerere, Yoweri Museveni, and the continued efforts of Odrek Rwabwogo affirm that we are on the right track toward building a Uganda that works for all. Their journeys remind us that transformation is anchored in ideology, discipline and purpose-driven leadership.

Today, over 70% of Uganda’s population is youthful-ambitious, creative, impatient, yet deeply honest. This demographic reality is both an opportunity & a test of leadership. While many have chosen to stand aside, Chairman *Odrek Rwabwogo* has stepped forward, boldly embracing the responsibility of shaping the minds, character and ideological clarity of this generation. For over two decades, he has been a consistent voice of mentorship, instilling the values of patriotism, collective responsibility, and national consciousness!
It is no surprise, therefore, that many see in him reflections of global icons such as; `Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., Nelson Mandela, Samora Machel, Lee Kuan Yew, and Deng Xiaoping.' Leaders who transformed societies through vision, sacrifice and service. *Chairman Rwabwogo* stands as a unique blend of these legacies; a servant leader defined by integrity, humility, peace, and an unwavering commitment to unity beyond tribe, religion or ideology.
As the Runyakitara wisdom reminds us, “Otaijuka tazimura” he who does not remember cannot appreciate or give back. It is in this spirit that we express our heartfelt gratitude to a teacher, mentor, and nation-builder whose work continues to inspire hope and direction.

Chairman Odrek. Mugisha Rwabwogo is not merely leading a program, he is nurturing a movement, cultivating a generation, and laying the foundation for a prosperous Uganda.

God bless you abundantly, for God and my Country.🇺🇬🇺🇬

On "8th, March, 1984," the then First Lady, Miria Obote, pioneered the celebration of Women’s Day at State House Entebbe. What began as a symbolic moment has since grown into a powerful annual tradition that honors the strength, resilience and contribution of women across Uganda..
Today, Uganda stands tall as a shining example of women’s empowerment, not only in Africa but across the world. `From leadership in government to service in national institutions, Ugandan women are not standing behind history; they are boldly shaping it.`
Our Vice President is a woman. Our Prime Minister is a woman. The Minister of East African Affairs is a woman-just to mention a few. Across our security organs, cabinet, public authorities, and even within the NRM party structures, women are leading from the front with courage, wisdom and dedication.

We extend our gratitude to H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for his continued commitment to empowering the girl child through initiatives such as the Presidential Skilling Hubs and other development programs. These efforts have transformed lives and opened doors of opportunity for thousands of young women."When a woman is empowered, a family rises, when families rise, the nation prospers."
Across businesses, markets, schools, offices, hotels, and centers of innovation, Ugandan women are like the heartbeat of progress, quietly powerful, endlessly resilient & deeply transformative. They are not just participants in development; they are architects of a better future. "Beyond titles and achievements, these women are our mothers who nurture us, our sisters who walk with us, and our wives who build homes and dreams beside us." They are the roots that anchor society and the wings that lift our nation forward.

Today, we celebrate not just womanhood, but the spirit of courage, sacrifice and hope that Ugandan women represent.
"To all the incredible women of our motherland; keep shining like the morning sun, keep rising like the Nile after the rains, keep serving with the strength and grace that defines you."

HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY.🌸🇺🇬✨

In many homes today, a man goes to bed carrying the heavy burden of responsibility. `Electricity bills, water, rent, food, clothing, school fees, and other family needs all rest on his shoulders as the head of the household.` Amidst biting poverty, these demands become overwhelming and for many men, peaceful sleep becomes a luxury they can hardly afford.
Some, unfortunately, turn to alcohol not out of pleasure, but as a desperate escape from stress, frustration and silent depression! Behind the bottle is often a man struggling quietly with responsibilities he feels he must carry alone.

This is why the message championed by servant Leader, Chairman "Odrek M. Rwabwogo" through his teaching sessions "Fix a Man, Fix the Country" is both timely & powerful. A stable nation begins with stable families, and stable families often depend on empowered, responsible men who are supported rather than neglected!

Our gov't should therefore, refocus attention on programs that empower men economically, socially, and mentally. When a man is strengthened with opportunities, skills and support, he becomes more capable of caring for his family, and in doing so, contributes to building a stronger and more stable nation.

KAMPALA CITY IS FOR ALL OF US.

By Mr Resistor Of Uganda.

We all long for a clean, calm, quiet and well-organized Kampala. Order, beauty and modernization are noble goals for any capital city. But the critical question remains, MUST cleanliness come at the cost of compassion? MUST order be enforced through fear?
For decades, young people have grown up hearing that opportunity lives in urban centers, and in Uganda’s case, that opportunity breathes loudest in Kampala. *With hope in our hearts, resilience in our hands, we left villages and small towns, not to cause chaos, but to search for dignity. We came not as invaders, but as dreamers.*
History teaches us that many of today’s tycoons, industrialists, job creators and top taxpayers once stood exactly where today’s hawkers and boda boda riders stand, at the margins. They started as hustlers. They sold sugarcane, second-hand clothes, snacks and airtime. The informal sector has always been the incubation center of enterprise.
According to national economic trends, the informal sector employs the majority of Uganda’s urban workforce and contributes significantly to household incomes. These are not criminals; they are survivors. They buy their merchandise from city wholesalers and retailers, pay rent, school fees, electricity, water and taxes embedded in the goods they purchase. They feed families, they sustain supply chains. They are part of the economy, not outside it.
And yet, what message do we send when empowerment turns into enforcement? When those who were once mobilized, encouraged and even supported through parish development Model-PDM are suddenly met with kiboko, arrests and confiscations?
When street food vendors who sought assistance from State institutions find themselves branded as obstacles to development?
A nation MUST never weaponize poverty.
True transformation is not achieved by sweeping away the poor as though they are dirt on the pavement. A capital city is not measured only by empty roads for luxury vehicles or glittering shopping malls, arcades or skyscrapers;. It is measured by how it treats its most vulnerable citizens. I mean the boda boda rider, the kiosk operator, the sugarcane seller,
the roadside food vendor.
Each carries not just merchandise, but responsibility-children in school, elderly parents at home, medical bills waiting to be paid. To destabilize their livelihoods abruptly is to shake entire households.

Governance demands firmness, yes-but also fairness. Reform should be consultative, phased and humane. Engage stakeholders, create designated vending zones, provide affordable licenses, and build structured markets before evictions. Transition, don’t crush and
Uganda belongs to all of us, rich and poor, urban elite and rural migrants alike. A stable society is built not by protecting privilege, but by expanding opportunity.
History warns us that when inequality widens and voices are ignored, frustration hardens.

Revolutions are not born overnight; they grow silently where hope is repeatedly betrayed. The lesson from historic upheavals, including the great social revolutions of Europe, is simple: an economy that works for only a few eventually works against itself.
As a committed CADRE who believes in stability and progress, I say this with sincerity: let us build a system that lifts rather than excludes. Development MUST have a human face. Modernization MUST carry moral legitimacy. Authority must be tempered with empathy.
We can build a better Uganda that works for all of us. one where streets are organized without being sanitized of survival, where policy is strong but compassionate, where leadership listens before it acts.
A prosperous nation is not one where the poor disappear.
It is one where the poor rise.
And that is the Kampala, and the Uganda-worth fighting for.

Today, Monday 26th January 2026, Uganda proudly marks 40 years since the National Resistance Army (NRA) liberated our country.

On this historic day in 1986, the NRA, the military wing of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) under the visionary leadership of H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, seized power after a five-year people’s protracted struggle. That decisive victory rescued Uganda from the brink, restored stability & sovereignty, and rekindled hope for a nation that had endured years of turmoil.
"Liberation was not merely a change of government; it was the rebirth of a nation." It laid a firm foundation for lasting peace, national unity and far-reaching socio-economic transformation. Over the last four decades, the NRM government has consolidated peace across the country, professionalized the security forces, rebuilt state institutions, expanded infrastructure, modernized agriculture, invested in education and health, advanced ICT and innovation, empowered youth and women, and positioned Uganda as a regional anchor of stability and economic resilience.
As patriots and beneficiaries of this hard-won freedom, we MUST celebrate & safeguard these historic gains. At the same time, we renew our collective commitment to “THE NEXT LEAP” a bold agenda aimed at deeper transformation, inclusive development, industrialization, value addition and shared prosperity for all Ugandans.
`It is from this proud and unbreakable foundation that I call upon all peace-loving Ugandans to turn up in big numbers at Kololo Independence Grounds as we commemorate this great Liberation Day.` Let us celebrate our journey, honor our heroes, and reaffirm our resolve to move Uganda forward—stronger, united, and unstoppable!

The struggle was worth it. The gains are real. The future is brighter.

WHY THE MOVEMENT PREVAILED IN THE RECENT ELECTIONS OF 2026.

By Cadre Yosia Mugaaju aka Mr Resistor Of Uganda 🇺🇬

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s victory in the 2026 General Elections was not an accident of history; it was the harvest of deliberate leadership & grounded governance. While others campaigned from podiums, the President chose the dust of the villages. `He took personal responsibility to go to the grassroots, to assess the performance of the Parish Development Model (PDM), to listen, to interact, to feel the pulse of the people where it truly beats.` In doing so, he reconnected the state with the citizen, turning policy into lived reality and leadership into presence.
That direct engagement exposed real challenges and produced real solutions. It restored confidence and renewed trust. The people saw a leader who does not govern by reports alone, but by walking with them, hearing their struggles and supporting them where it matters most.
On the other hand, the opposition stood divided & distracted, locked in endless internal wrangles, cheap quarrels, and ego-driven battles!
"This disarray revealed a deficit of maturity and vision." As a result, they lost their grip even in their traditional strongholds, notably Central Buganda & Eastern/Busoga. In many contests, including Kampala metropolitan area NRM candidates consistently emerged as the strongest alternative; often second in line-signaling a shifting political tide.
'What ultimately set the NRM apart was substance over spectacle, peace and stability, steady economic progress.' Consistency in service delivery, massive investments in infrastructure, ICT advancement, oil and pipeline development, export promotion, import substitution, value addition, skills development and empowerment programs. These are not SLOGANS; they are life-changing interventions. They give citizens hope, courage, and a reason to believe in the Movement while others chase titles, positions, and protest rhetoric!

This is why President Museveni secured his highest percentage victory in years, surpassing even the highly contested elections of the past. It was a contest between real plans & empty excitement, between structured transformation and bandwagon politics, between governance and noise. The people chose substance.
As the nation looks ahead, the period from "2026 to 2031" stands as a defining chapter. "It is a critical window for collective responsibility to consolidate peace, deepen institutions and prepare for a smooth and peaceful transition of power for the first time in Uganda’s history." The Movement’s mandate is not just to govern, but to steward the future with wisdom, unity, and foresight!

The road ahead is clear; grounded leadership, disciplined politics and a nation moving forward together.

National Resistance Movement -NRM Party is Unstoppable!

13/01/2026

WHEN THE DRUMBEAT IS CLEAR.

By Cadre Yosia Mugaaju (Resistor Of Uganda 🇺🇬)

Uganda today stands as a remarkable testament to inclusive leadership & deliberate empowerment. Ours is a country where women are not spectators in national affairs but architects of destiny. "From the Vice President to the Speaker of Parliament, from the Prime Minister to key cabinet portfolios such as Health, Science and Technology, and East African Affairs, women occupy the nerve centre of governance. Even within the ruling party, the Deputy Secretary General of the NRM is a woman." This is not symbolism; it is substance. It is leadership in action. It is empowerment translated into authority.
This reality explains why Ugandan women will rise in unison on Thursday, 15th January 2026, to cast their vote for H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the NRM party flag bearers. When a government opens doors and hands over keys, gratitude naturally turns into loyalty.
At the same time, the youth-the engine of tomorrow, are not forgotten. Through life-changing interventions such as `the Youth Livelihood Programme, EMYOOGA, the Parish Development Model (PDM), Wealth Creation initiatives, and the Presidential Skilling Programmes for both the girl and boy child,` the young generation is being equipped, not with promises, but with tools. Free Universal Primary & Secondary Education continues to light the candle of opportunity in every village. These programmes are the seeds; household income is the harvest.
President Museveni’s vision today is clear and resonant: every household earning, poverty pushed out, and prosperity brought home. This is not a slogan, it is a roadmap. That is why young people, alive to their interests and alert to their future, will also turn up in overwhelming numbers to vote for a leader who has consistently invested in their potential.👌🏽👍🏽

As we speak, Uganda’s political atmosphere is electric & upbeat. The country hums with campaign songs, radio and television talk shows, social media debates, live chats, and roadside discussions. The national conversation has a clear rhythm and at its centre is the "NRM Movement and President Museveni," a political sun around which the discourse revolves.
In contrast, the opposition finds itself adrift, fragmented by internal rifts & bitter divisions. From the FDC splits to the visible cracks within NUP, confusion reigns where clarity should be!
In politics, as in nature, disorder weakens, while unity strengthens. It is therefore evident that President Museveni will convert this opposition disarray into a decisive victory, securing a commanding mandate in the 2026 general elections.
As a committed cadre and mobilizer of the NRM, I issue a clarion call to the entire NRM fraternity;. Let us turn out in massive numbers on *15th January 2026.* Let us defend our gains, consolidate our unity, and renew our mandate. "When the drumbeat is clear, the wise do not hesitate to dance." Uganda is moving forward and the Movement remains the vehicle. THE NEXT LEAP......

WHY NRM MUST INTENSIFY MOBILISATION FOR A 2026 LANDSLIDE VICTORY.

Mobilisation MUST continue relentlessly up to the very last day of the campaign. In fact, for any serious candidate at any level, the final week should be an all-out push leaving no stone unturned and no voter unengaged.
Within the NRM, the decision to centre campaigns around the Presidential candidate & party flag bearer, moving across the country as one force, was partly strategic; "to minimise costs, manage expectations, and avoid the dangerous habit of making unrealistic promises to multiple interest groups." However, when we critically examine the Kampala Metropolitan Area(KMP) Kampala, Wakiso, Mukono & Mpigi, serious strategic gaps emerge!
These highly populated urban centres were mainly approached through selected groups such as;. "Boda boda riders, ghetto structures, salon operators and garage mechanics." While these groups are influential, the reality is more complex. Most people within these categories migrated to urban areas for work but remain registered voters in their villages. For them, returning home to vote is costly and disruptive. `Many cannot afford to lose two working days to travel, vote, and return-unless facilitated.` Worse still, a significant number in this bracket do not fully appreciate the value of voting & would rather stay home, rest, watch television, or listen to radio.
This is where the miscalculation lies!
Ignoring well-organized and loyal NRM pressure groups during campaigns is a strategic error. When such groups feel sidelined, they become demotivated. Instead of mobilising others, they retreat into political silence, watching events unfold rather than shaping outcomes. "In elections, demoralisation is as dangerous as opposition."
Equally concerning is the underutilisation of religious leaders and their disciplined structures, especially Muslims, Catholics, and Born-Again communities. These institutions command deep loyalty, moral authority and grassroots reach. 'Failure to fully integrate them into mobilisation efforts leaves a critical gap in the campaign architecture.'
Finally, women in markets & urban informal businesses like; restaurant workers, pub operators, vendors, and traders, represent a decisive voting bloc. Unlike many migrant workers, they have stayed in urban areas long enough to participate in voter registration and are always flexible and ready to vote from where they live and work. Overlooking them is not just an omission; it is a lost opportunity!

As an NRM cadre and mobilizer, I strongly appeal to the party leadership: the final days of the campaign are decisive. "This is the moment to re-nergise structures, re-engage pressure groups, activate religious networks, and deliberately mobilise urban women voters." Victory is not accidental, it is organised.
If these final days are used wisely, decisively and inclusively, the result will be clear: a resounding landslide victory for H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in the 2026 General Elections.

Protecting the gains and focusing on OUR NEXT LEAP....

WHY PRESIDENT MUSEVENI KEEPS WINNING.

Many people around the world often wonder why President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni continues to win elections term after term. The answer is simple:. "He is a good person, a great leader, a patriot, and a committed Pan-Africanist." Leadership is about trust and President Museveni has earned that trust over time.
As we head into the 2026 General Elections, the real question is not who will win, but by what margin. Our task is to secure an overwhelming percentage for our Presidential candidate & the National Resistance Movement (NRM).
The facts on the ground are clear. The National Unity Platform (NUP) has no parliamentary candidates in Lango, Acholi, and Karamoja. "It has only seven(7) in Teso, six(6) in West Nile, twelve(12) in Greater Ankole, and eight (8) in Bukedi." Even in Buganda, NUP candidates face stiff competition from the NRM and strong independents. As campaigns progress, many NUP flag bearers are withdrawing from the race at all levels.
Out of 146 district chairperson seats, NUP has fielded only 35 candidates. From 8,500 district councilor positions, only 650 were presented. At sub-county and town council level, NUP has managed 2,040 candidates out of 12,500. These numbers expose a party with limited national reach and a weak organizational backbone!
In contrast, the NRM campaigns on delivery & vision. Under President Museveni’s steady leadership, Uganda has advanced in infrastructure, ICT, oil and pipeline construction, health, export promotion, import substitution, value addition, skilling, Emyooga, the Parish Development Model (PDM), youth livelihood programs, and green jobs abroad through bilateral agreements.
These are not promises, they are proof of performance. They are the indicators of a landslide victory. That is why we MUST protect the gains & confidently focus on the NEXT LEAP.

FOR GOD AND MY COUNTRY 🇺🇬🇺🇬

17/12/2025

79 DAYS ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL.

Seventy-nine days into the presidential campaigns, as of "16th, Dec, 2025," Uganda’s political arena has been alive with movement, sound, colour and conviction. All presidential contenders have traversed the country, rallying citizens to support not only their individual bids but also candidates flying their party flags at every level.

Measured by crowd sizes, public enthusiasm & the remarkable patience of voters who brave scorching sunshine and sudden downpours, three serious contenders clearly stand out from the pack;. 'H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of the NRM, Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi of NUP, & Nathan Nandala Mafabi of FDC.' These candidates have demonstrated consistency and resolve, crisscrossing regions, engaging the media through press conferences, interviews & radio talk shows, and holding strategic meetings with local and youth leaders.
However, speaking as an "NRM CADRE," it is important to take an honest mirror to ourselves. "Every marathon has water stations, and every winning army must secure its supply lines." In this campaign, gaps remain in four critical areas;.
1.Faith-Based Engagement.
Religious leaders & their followers have not been sufficiently engaged, with the notable exception of the `Owobusobozi Bisaka group.` Yet faith leaders are opinion shapers; when they are mobilized, congregations move with them.
1.NRM Pressure Groups.
While some few pressure groups have received attention but their full numerical potential has not been maximized. Campaigns are ultimately a game of numbers and numbers MUST be deliberately assembled, organized, and driven to the ballot.
3.Youth Leaders & First-Time Voters.
The energy of the youth, especially first-time voters has not been fully aligned with the NRM’s vision for the next five years. This is the generation that dances at rallies today and decides the nation’s direction tomorrow.
4.Campaign Materials on the Ground.
Although the NRM Secretariat has shown commendable commitment by leaving office comfort for fieldwork, the result has been a shortage of essential campaign materials like: T-shirts, posters, and manifestos at the grassroots. "Visibility fuels morale; absence breeds doubt."

These gaps risk demoralizing loyal supporters, frustrating registered party members, and ultimately depressing voter turnout on polling day.
With 29 days remaining, the hourglass is running fast. This is the time for every hand to touch the plough. All groups, individual volunteers, party structures & well-wishers MUST step forward with renewed urgency-offering their time, resources and energy to mobilize for Mzee, the NRM presidential flag bearer.
Members of Parliament and district chairpersons on the NRM ticket MUST also intensify their ground engagement. A specialized & strategic mobilization force should be deployed to opposition strongholds and areas where our performance fell short in the previous elections. It is there that margins are widened and victories are secured!
'In politics, momentum is like fire; if it is fed, it spreads; if neglected, it dies.' Let us feed the flame. That is how we shall consolidate support, raise our percentages & march confidently toward victory in the coming general elections.
