Students leadership elections foster community engagement, responsibility, and democracy, participants have showcased valuable skills such as communication, problem-solving, and teamwork during general campaigns.

Our appreciations to the administration, prefects patron and the electoral commission team for ensuring that students take an active role in shaping their campus community leadership.

The entire Makerere College School, MACOS community appreciates their effort for raising our flag high, the school administration under the leadership of Dr. Martin Muyingo has offered a bull to roast as we celebrate our triumphant domination of this year's championiship.

The bull roasting event is happening this Sunday afternoon, 12th April 2026 at Mulawa campus.

The school administration continues to uphold our culture of recognising exeptional and outstanding individuals from the different departments.

Special recognition to our boys from the for their exceptional performance in the recently concluded Central Schools Rugby League.

The Makerere College School, MACOS administration under the directive of the Government of the Republic of Uganda is implementing the recently issued or reinforced directive aimed at formalizing and revitalizing the scouting movement within schools.

The directive requires Mandatory Club Participation: Current Ministry of Education and Sports Uganda Basic Requirements and Minimum Standards mandate that every student must participate in at least one club per week, with scouting being a prioritized option.

The directive focuses on incorporating scouting into the national education framework to build character, discipline, and leadership among students.
