Uganda Export Promotion Board - UEPB is a governmental Trade Support Institution supervised by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives, charged with the promotion and development of the export sector in Uganda.

“The customs at the Uganda Revenue Authority follows four core objectives: protection of society, facilitation of legitimate trade across borders, revenue collection, and data collection.
Arrangements are being put in place to ensure that every exporter needing assistance from Uganda Revenue Authority receives it as soon as possible , we are setting up an office specifically for that” - Mr Esunget Simon, Manager Customs at URA representing the Commission General.

“On behalf of UEPB and on behalf of the government allow me to thank the captains of horticulture for creating markets for households , creating jobs and earning Uganda foreign Forex.

We are here today to have away forward on how we can improve our products competitiveness on the world market together and we have decided to start with this value chain level for better focusing and creating clear interventions together.

We are working with different district local government offices to build the capacity of the private sector in marketing and business management and we are planning to Establish 5 regional offices.
We have 50 UEPB trainers of Trainees countrywide and we pledge to train more.
