The training was conducted in Kitgum and Otuke districts. National Women Council Chairperson Hajat Farida Kibowa, Hon Aber Lilian woman MP Kitgum district and Hon Auma Linda Agnes woman MP Lira district presided the training. Women Council leaders were advised to utilize parish development model money for income generation in order to reduce on the rate of poverty in their families.

Earlier Friday 2nd December 2022, State Minister for gender and culture who doubles as woman mp Bunyangabu district Hon Peace Regis Mutuuzo encouraged Ugandans to embrace Skilling programs at wekomire tecknical institute in kyegegwa district where over 100 girls who got early pregnancies were awarded certificates in toiloring and hair dressing
Mutuuzo warned people with ill intentions calling child mothers destroyed emphasising that they're seriously reconstructing child mothers mindset and taking them back to school urging that during COVID-19 over 3m children were pregnanted
