As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:10-11

Proverbs 22:6
"Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will.."
You have searched me, LORD, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, LORD, know it completely. Psalm 139:1-4 (NIV)
The Bible reminds us over and over again of the comfort and peace that comes from being known and loved by God. We are truly known and perfectly loved, even more clearly and truly than we know and love ourselves! In fact, it is often quite difficult for us to know ourselves well, to discern clearly our longings, needs, and deepest desires.
Simply put, what we think we need and actually need is not always one in the same. This is especially true in times of pain or suffering. We want to flag Jesus down and say, “Come over here! I’m hurting and need you to fix this right now!” And Jesus does want to heal us and comfort us, yet he desires to heal our deepest longings and truest needs, and does so even if we don’t know what that need is.
In the medical field, doctors often talk about treating the underlying issue rather than simply focusing on the presenting symptom. I wonder if this is true of our spiritual lives as well? Could it be that Jesus, the Great Physician, wants to free us from our sorrow and pain, yet does so by working his healing into the core of our very being? And in light of this, what does it mean for us to be calm in the midst of chaos, peaceful in the most unlikely of places?
Since God knows us better than we even know ourselves, we are free to take a deep breath, open our hands, and with humble hearts say to God, “Even in the midst of chaos and great pain, I trust that you know my deepest need. So I won’t try and run past you or tell you what’s best. I choose to instead acknowledge my limitations and weakness, trusting that you are always working for my good.”
In the mystery and beauty of God’s wisdom, instead of simply erasing pain and brokenness, he heals it by taking it upon himself and transforming it in the process. We see this perfectly and powerfully on the cross as Jesus takes death upon himself so that through it he can speak life and victory.
Take heart today and trust that the thing in your life that feels like it might be your undoing can instead be something you offer to God for healing and restoration. Though it may seem improbable or even impossible, nothing is too great for a God who knows you better than you know yourself!

Woven into human fabric is the desire to learn and understand. Our mind sets us apart from animals ,and we analyze, conceptualize, theorize , discuss, and debate everything from science to the supernatural. We build schools, institutions, and universities where learned professors can teach us about the world and about life.
Knowledge is good, but vast difference stands between "knowledge"(having the facts ) and "Wisdom" (applying those facts to life). We may amass knowledge, but without wisdom our knowledge is useless. We must learn how to live out what we know.
"Fear of the LORD is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline "

Appreciating the little things in life means focusing on what brings us joy and happiness instead of those things that are negative. It means practicing gratitude for those everyday moments that are so easy to take for granted or forget. Because those little things are the things we often end up cherishing the most.
You were made for friendship with God. God does not just want us to know about him; he wants us to know him — and to experience his friendship. “Let it be [our] first love to enter into an everlasting friendship with Christ that never shall be broken”. The gospel calls us to trust Jesus as our Savior, submit to him as our King, and value him as our Treasure. It also calls us to enjoy him as our friend.
He Gladly Calls Us Friends
Jesus gathered his disciples one last time, on the night before his death, to prepare them for the next day and beyond. In the midst of this sacred evening he said, “No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you” (John 15:15). To be called Jesus’s servant is an immeasurable privilege. Yet Jesus confers a greater honor. He brings us even closer. He calls us friends.
“You were made for friendship with God.”
Two pieces of evidence show his sincerity. First, he opened his heart with transparency. While a master doesn’t tell his servant what he’s doing, Jesus revealed his Father’s will to us. And he would send his Spirit to ensure that all future disciples would hear these words (John 14:26; 16:12–15).
Second, the cross proves his friendship. He said, “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). He wanted his disciples to see the cross and think: I understand now: He substituted himself for me under God’s wrath, and he did it because he views me as his treasured friend. He wants us to view the cross as an affection-filled sacrifice for friends.
Friendship is in the deepest heart of Christ and it’s at the very center of the gospel.

God is all-wise and all-powerful. His will is perfect, yet He doesn't always act in ways that we understand. Job's suffering didn't make sense because everyone believed good people were supposed to prosper. When Job was at the point of despair God spoke to him , showing him His power and wisdom.
Suffering can be , but is not always, a penalty for sin . In the same way, prosperity is not always a reward for being good. Those who love God are not exempt from trouble. Although we may not be able to understand fully the pain we experience, it can lead us to rediscover God.
We must learn to recognise but not fear Satan's attacks because Satan cannot exceed the limits that God sets. Don't let any experience drive a wedge between you and God. Although you can control how you will respond when it happens.
Although God is present everywhere, at times He may seem far away. This may cause us to feel alone and doubt His care for us. We should serve God for how He is , not what we feel. He is never insensitive to our suffering. Because God is sufficient, we must hold on to Him.
We must be careful not to judge others who are suffering. We may be demonstrating the sin of pride . We must be cautious in maintaining the certainty of our own conclusions about how God treats us. When we congratulate ourselves for being right,we become proud.
God alone knew the purpose behind Job's suffering, and yet He never explained it to job . In spite of this ,Job never gave up on God - even in the midst of suffering. He never placed his hope in his experience, his wisdom, his friends, or his wealth, he focused on God.
Job showed the kind of trust we are to have , when everything is stripped away, we are to recognise that God is all we ever really had . We should not demand that God explain everything, God gives us Himself, but not all the details of His plans. We must remember that this life , with all it's pain , is not our final Destiny.
If this resonates with you how about we become friends, chat once in awhile, share experiences, follow each , exchange ideas 💡
