Happy Labour Day. CorpsAfrica Volunteers catalysing positive social change in local communities.

We share Joan's journey of change from one seasonal income source to diversifying, having been participated in community initiatives facilitated by CorpsAfrica Volunteer Ashraf in Makindu village.

Supported with an irrigation pump to continuously provide water for their gardens, farmers in Makindu village can now produce green pepper throughout the year thus boosting their incomes.

It is service to humanity that outlives us. This is what CorpsAfrica is all about.

The future of development is local, and increasingly led by women. By 2030, CorpsAfrica aims for more than 70% of its Volunteers to be women, strengthening the role of women leaders working hand in hand with rural communities.

Kickstart International worked with Alumni to support 14 farmer groups with irrigation pumps to support year round horticulture in Buyiga island community. This consolidated the community projects started during their service.
