SAD
Just like most of you, I'm shattered by the explosions that hit the city earlier today. It is heart breaking that lives and property have been lost while other people have been hospitalized. It’s going to take time to get through the shock of this loss.
I know the days and months ahead will be a big adjustment, so please lets give ourselves a lot of grace. Do whatever you need to take care of you, with lots of prayer too.
I condole with the bereaved families and wish speedy recovery to the hospitalized ones.

Rt. Hon. Nabbanja Robinah Prime Minister has been around long enough to see Mr. M7 falling out with his right hand favourites. The same can happen to her. We should refrain from making laws that target individuals. Be careful the grave you dig for your enemy, it could be you to fall into it.
Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has asked Ugandans to support President Museveni’s proposal to deny bail for people accused of capital offences.

So we are thinking of taxing savings made from an income that was already taxed, or better put; we are taxing taxed money. Rather than leave memories no one can steal, we are leaving a heartache no one can heal.

Yesterday afternoon, the opposition members of parliament stormed out of parliament protesting the re-arrest of our two colleagues; Hon Allan Ssewanyana (Makindye West) and Hon Muhammad Ssegirinya (Kawempe North). The two were re-arrested shortly after release from Kigo prison where they had spent over two weeks for ALLEGEDLY participating in the recent spate of murders in greater Masaka region.
While we do not Condone lawlessness, we strongly believe that custodians of the law should be lawful themselves. There is for instance no reason as to why their families should not be able to access them, leave alone knowing where they are. The re-arrest after the court bail looks like a slap in the face of the judiciary. It is easy to defend what is going on until you are the next.
It is a shame that as security organs spend a lot of energy on opposition politicians in what looks like a witch hunt, the killings are spreading to other parts of the country. There is a lot of work to be done to secure lives of the ordinary Ugandan. Clearly, we are treating cancer with a Vaseline. It never works!
Fast forward, Ugandans need their lives secured and our colleagues need justice.
