Title: Saving Uganda's Giants: Urgent Appeal for the Rothschild Giraffe

Publication: Heritage Wildlife Ranch Newsletter

Date: February 2024

Their grace and beauty define the African savanna. But tragically, the Rothschild giraffe, one of Africa's most endangered giraffe subspecies, is disappearing. Poaching and shrinking habitats threaten their very existence. At Heritage Wildlife Ranch, we're fighting to give them a future – and we need your help.

We're a team of passionate conservationists on the frontlines. Our past work with local communities has provided crucial data, empowering villagers to become giraffe guardians and trackers. But the challenges are urgent.

With your support, we can take life-saving action. This vital grant will enable us to: safely relocate vulnerable giraffes, bolster anti-poaching efforts, and restore the grasslands they need to thrive. Together, we can secure a future for these gentle giants and ensure they remain a cherished symbol of Uganda's wildlife heritage.
