𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐌𝐏: HON. MOLLY ASIIMWE (Rwampara Woman MP)

Molly Musiime Asiimwe is a Ugandan politician and woman member of parliament. In 2021, she was elected as a woman representative in parliament for Rwampara district during the 2021 Uganda general elections. She is a member of the ruling National Resistance Movement political party. She previously served as secretary in the office of the First Lady

She is the first Woman MP of the newly created Rwampara district and she was born in Rushere, Kiruhura District and she is married to Mr. Stephen Asiimwe.She attended Rushere Primary school and Bweranyangi Secondary School and it is on record that she was a Head Girl at both schools.
In 1991 she joined Makerere University where she studied English language and a post graduate diploma in education. She also has a Masters in Organizational Leadership and Management from the Development Associates International.

As a teacher, Molly taught at Gayaza High School and Makerere College before quitting teaching to purs

This morning Hon Molly Asiimwe, Hon Julius Tusiime Karuhanga, our RDC Emmy Kateera, together with The technical team( Dcdo, DCO) started the Monitoring exercise of Emyooga program in Rwampara East Constituency.

We thank them for the tremendous job they are doing in Transforming Our community RWAMPARA DISTRICT

While appearing on GnTv over the weekend,Hon Molly Asiimwe advised the residents of Rwampara District to keep calm , observe the SOPS as the govt continues to vaccinate the nationals against Covid-19 so that Lockdown can be released and get back to our normal businesses.

Hon Molly Asiimwe held a meeting with Rugando Youth leaders on how to transform their communities through good leadership and lobbying.

She asked them to mind about the quality of leaders they choose to stair the development.

She Promised to work with them to create a change in relation to community transformation.

Dear Comrades.
Thanks for all your efforts. A quick bio and resume for Molly.
• Molly is a graduate of Makerere University. BA Arts, specialized in languages and literature.
• Has a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership and Management (MAOL) from the Development Associates International (DAI) in the US but awarded at UCU in Mukono.
• Has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education.
• Post graduate training and certifications in Procurement, Human Resources, Finance, et al.

Molly has worked taught in Gayaza High School and Makerere College School in her education career.
• She then moved on to work with Danida projects that funded 3rd Wormd schools as a project manager.
• Woejed with URA, NUSAF and was later appointed Executive Assistant to the First Lady. This is the equivalent of the PPS of the First Lady. Please note “Equivalent” since the position for PPS for 1st Lady, does not exist. But just for illustration.
• Under this office she worked in Karamoja and now with Min of Education and Sports.

EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

We joined Private Secretary to First Lady Madam Molly Asiimwe to empower the people from Rugando Subcounty, over 150 leaders LC1s, LC2s and LC3, Presidential Advisors and Key stakeholders joined the event. Programs like agriculture, Skilling for youth, and financial deepening were all at the center of the discussion. We thank the government of H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni The President or Republic of Uganda to keep the endless efforts to fight poverty and unemployment. ED FYF informed the leaders that we must keep youth encouraged to work hard in their families and focus on utilizing available opportunities like in agriculture and change their mindsets.
