Congratulations the people of Ibanda upon successful NRM primaries.Thos was the first time in twenty years to hear sounds of celebration after an election.We pray the leadership gets a message of Hope and expectation.Hongera Mzee hongera NRM

Tonight as we spent in prayer at Namugongo .we have received abundant blessings.I am amazed at the expression of faith by local and foreign pilgrims walking in the sun praying singing .we have received favors and miracles by the intercession of the Uganda Martyrs.We need to reflect deeply and ask what made the Uganada martyrs face off with the king of Buganda?Their faith was new,their worship was not in structured church services we have.They had just been baptized by fleeing missionaries .The white fathers faced with threats of death and expulsion went to Tanzania.What made the young Christians under instruction or catechisms endure death for the sake of Christ? Its faith and love of Christ.They had understood and said yes to what was right and no to evil.We need to pray hard and discern our faith and know that life is Christ.Be firm and courageous especially in our corrupted society .To be counted as soldiers of the living Christ.Let us show love and welcome especially to pilgrims visiting Uganda from other countries.May the peace of Christ the love of God and fellowship of the Holy Spirit accompany you.Prayerful vigil.

I have been wondering what makes human beings act the way they act?I have also asked whether humans are capable of loving fellow human being?and I wondered whether justice is possible?This has occupied a lot of my thinking this year and observe a lot almost to the point of despair but then remembered one thing I share with my colleagues and students .We cannot realize happiness if we have not served another in need.and this is the meaning of love and justice .It doesn't come easily but human beings need the grace of God to be humane and to experience love and therein act justly.Your take ?

Last week I watched the Kenyan presidential candidates opinion polls and analysts comments on many T,V stations.I think the pollsters owe Kenyans a lot of explanation and analysts researchers and general public need clear messages to avoid the mistakes that both researchers and general public make on the erroneous conclusions that many many in knowledge based research institutions present.The 2007 opinion polls almost prepared Kenya for the impending chaos by putting Raila who was leading all the way close to Kibaki.What happened was a crisis still justified in the eyes of opinion polls.The same was repeated in 2013 predicting a rerun and the same situation is being played this time.I have no idea how they arrived at the sample and analyzed their data.What is not clear is whether our research Institutes can play to the plague of reducing research to ones needs and situations and suppress the truth and give conclusions based on artificial one sided opinions.This has led Africa to consume knowledge rather than produce knowledge and create a precedent for future generations. Once credibility questions arise from internal consistency of data and validity, you have no research on conclusions .It remains a mystery how these two concluded almost the same and treading carefully over errors and then repeat their game in three Presidential elections 2007 2013 and now 2017.Some one should set up a Research commission to cushion the public and Presidential candidates from such and gain Credibility of the Research institutions.this opportunity was lost during parliamentary debate on Opinion polls.But its not lost we have the time to get more information and verify what they are telling US.Let the truth prevail in Scientific research to assure every one that Knowledge based decisions can propel our economy and management of Public Resources well as well as Political decisions in right direction.
