NEXT TUESDAY!!!
VPL is pleased to announce that it will be participating in the annual LSBA Louisiana Lawyers in Libraries statewide program in partnership with the Louisiana State Bar Association (LSBA), the State Library of Louisiana and the Louisiana Library Association. This year, library patrons across the parish will have the opportunity to meet with attorney Jeremy Moody for a brief “Ask-a-Lawyer” in- person consultation.
Consultations will be on a first-come, first-served basis at the main library branch in Abbeville. We will not be taking registration or appointments for this event. This program will not address criminal matters.

Vermilion Parish Library is honored to celebrate National Friends of the Library Week, October 18-24, recognizing Vermilion Library Foundation as an essential part of the library family. Through advocacy, fundraising and community involvement, Vermilion Library Foundation’s dedicated members help strengthen the role VPL has in the community.
Vermilion Library Foundation plays a fundamental part in supporting libraries through volunteer services such as fundraising efforts, sponsoring special events, funding contest prizes and supporting upgrades to library technology. Their efforts help bring awareness and public advocacy by helping enrich experiences for library patrons of all ages.
