Come celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, and flavors that connect our communities at Taste of Latin America on October 10!

RISE Red de Inclusion Solidaridad y Empoderamiento, Student Life at Grays Harbor College, the GHC Diversity and Equity Center, and the GHC Culinary Program invite you to join us on Saturday, October 10 from noon to 4 PM in the tulalW Student Center for an afternoon of live music, community, culture, and cuisine.

Enjoy Mexican dishes and tasting samples from across Latin America and the Caribbean, including Peruvian ceviche, Colombian potato salad, Venezuelan mini arepas, Chilean pebre, Puerto Rican sandwichitos de mezcla, Guatemalan fiambre, Brazilian fried green banana chips, and Cuban guava-and-cheese empanadas for dessert.

Community in Conversation ✨
Today we gathered at the Diversity & Equity Center for a meaningful roundtable on self-care and Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
Facilitated by Brian Shook, Counselor & Transfer Advisor at Grays Harbor College, the space invited honest dialogue, reflection, and connection around wellness during the winter season. Students came together to share experiences, learn strategies for care, and support one another in community.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this such a thoughtful and affirming conversation. And yes — sharing lunch together made it even warmer.

GHC Students! ‼️🔔

In addition to his evening performance Alex Zerbe: The Professional Zaniac will be performing a FREE event for GHC students and their guests on Friday, January 30th at noon in the Bishop Center!

This is a different (but equally fun!) program from the evening performance, so if you like the noon show, come on back for the evening performance as well!

The outreach event at 12:00 PM is FREE general admission, the evening event at 7:30 PM is ticketed, but GHC students and kids 12 & under can get FREE tickets on the Bishop Center website or at the box office one hour before showtime!
