If you are needing an Out of State VIN Inspection, we can do those M-F, 8am-5pm
You will need to bring
1. The vehicle needing the inspection
2. The original out of state title; we do not accept copies of titles. If you have a lien on the vehicle, your lien holder will need to fax the front and back of the title to (785)263-1512.
3. Your drivers license
4. $20 fee; We accept card, cash, or check. There will be a transaction fee of $.50 if you use your credit/debit card. Release of KDOR Information

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s office was awarded its Certificate of Accreditation during the County Commission meeting this morning! Chief Golden with the Kansas Law Enforcement Accreditation Council presented the award recognizing DKSO as an Accredited Agency through the Kansas Law Enforcement Accreditation Program.

This accomplishment recognizes the Sheriff’s Office commitment to professionalism, accountability, transparency, and best practices.

A big thank you to all the sponsors that supported and the teams that participated in the DKSO Community Fund Golf Tournament this past Saturday. The weather provided some extra time for good conversation with the rain delay but everyone was eventually able to make it on the course for a good time.

Congratulations to Matt Elliott's team which were the champions!

The DKSO drone pilot was also able to get some training in during the day.

All of the proceeds will be used to support Cops & Bobbers, Faith & Blue, and other community events.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office is requesting public assistance in locating a missing juvenile.

Charles Hartman IV is a 15 year old white male,
5'9” tall, 120 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. Charles was last seen at approximately 1:30 AM this morning at his residence. He was last seen wearing a light blue Champion hoodie and black sweatpants.

Charles may be driving a Reddish/orange 2015 Ford Escape with Kansas license plate 2509AFA. The vehicle has a bumper sticker on lower left side of hatch door "Not drunk, just learning."
Charles may be enroute to Iowa.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Charles or the above mentioned vehicle is asked to contact the Dickinson County Emergency Communications Center at 785-263-4041.
