Happy Friday friends! This week was a real nail-bitter with the unpredictable storms we’ve had! We will always be thankful for the rain, and we really lucked out with minimal damage to our landscapes city wide! At the end of this week we’re at just about 8 inches of rain which has our plants loving life!! Our crew at Abilene Parks and Rec worked together this week, making clean up swift and easy! Sunday’s forecast looks beautiful, so if you’re free, take a stroll through the garden! Have a great weekend!

Happy Friday friends!! We don’t have much new to share with you as we’re still plugging away at planting. We’re almost finished with only a few areas left to do. Thank goodness! The rain this week has been a bit of a setback, but we will ALWAYS be thankful for it. So this Friday we will be doing a photo dump! Happy Friday, friends! We’ve been planting, planting and more planting! As of today, our total number of plants planted is 3,193 with a few more to go! This includes annuals planted in the rose garden, the 111 pots around town, and some annuals at both of Abilene’s welcome signs!! We are happy to announce that the tiered fountain is up and running! We are waiting for a part to arrive to fix the main fountain and hoping it will be full by memorial weekend! The roses and daisies are blooming! Absolutely gorgeous! Take a mosey through the garden this weekend and check them out!

Happy Friday friends!! We’ve continued to have such beautiful weather, so we decided to start planting around town! The theme this year is red, white, and blue in honor of our country’s 250th birthday!! It looks like the Iris have started blooming so come check them out!
