Advocating for children in foster care 💙
CASA volunteers speak up for a child’s best interests in court and in life. Every child deserves a voice.

Big Country CASA endeavors to provide valuable volunteer advocacy for every child within the Taylor County child welfare system. CASA volunteers provide information through court reports and testimony and make recommendations in the child’s best interest to the court. CASA volunteers are a consistent presence in a child’s life while working collaboratively with others involved in the case. Advocat

For children in foster care, normalcy isn’t a luxury — it’s the foundation for confidence, connection, and joy. It’s the everyday experiences that help them feel like they truly fit in.

This National Children's Day, let's recognize the importance of giving all children the chance to just be kids!

For children in foster care, normalcy means having the chance to experience everyday things — like sleepovers, sports, birthday parties and so much more. These experiences help them grow, connect and feel a sense of belonging.
