Washington County Virginia Democrats We are committed to economic opportunities, public education, healthcare, housing and employment.

Our purpose is to aid in the victory of the Democratic Party’s nominees in all elections. We want to promote the growth and success of the Democratic Party at the local, state and national levels. We want to use our best efforts to ensure the orderly selection of qualified Democratic nominees to all public elective offices. We support efforts to register all qualified Democratic voters in Washington County and to encourage them to participate in the political process. We promote harmonious relationships among our members, and recognize the diversity of our society. We encourage full and equal opportunity for everyone to participate in Democratic Party affairs.

What's next?

We had a great turn out for the No Kings Early Vote rallies yesterday. From Bristol through the coalfields and all the way to Roanoke, southwest Virginia showed up and joined thousands of people across the nation (and even some overseas).

We have to keep up the effort to get people out to the polls, and we also need to make sure those votes are counted. Find more about how the No Kings coalition is preparing for election protection. Join us online Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 8pm.
