The Alverthorpe Wading Pool opens for daily use tomorrow, June 20! ☀️ Hours of operation are 11 AM to 5 PM. The pool is available to Abington Township residents ages 5 and under at no charge.

Township offices are closed today, Friday, June 19, 2026, in observance of Juneteenth. There will be no trash, recyclables, or yard debris collections. Friday and Monday's trash and recyclables will be collected on Monday, June 22. There will be no yard debris collection. Yard debris for Friday and Monday will be collected on your next scheduled collection day.

Crestmont and Penbryn Pools open for daily use on Saturday, June 20. The pools will remain open through Labor Day, September 7. The daily hours of operation are as follows:
🔹 June 20-August 16: 11 AM-9 PM
🔹 August 17-September 6: 11 AM-8 PM
🔹 September 7: 11 AM-5 PM
