Halloween is this weekend! If your teen has planned to attend a Halloween party, be sure to take some time to talk with them, expressing your disapproval of underage drinking or drug use at the party. Together, come up with an "escape code/plan" should they find themselves around others engaging in these behaviors.

If you are planning to host a Halloween party with minors present, remember: "parents who host lose the most"! You could be held legally liable if teens are found drinking on your property! Be sure you are familiar with the social host ordinances active in your community!
