COMMUNITY NOTICE

We just wanted to reach out to our Ada citizens today and inform you of our new visitor in town!

If you’re wondering who is going around Ada this week during the day, knocking on doors, it is a university student from Europe, Estonia, named Gert Bookman Krimm. He is participating in a summer exchange program and selling educational books and apps for families, ranging from young toddlers all the way to college prep.

This is Gert’s first week in Ada, so if you see him, don’t be shy—say hello!

Gert is legitimate and has acquired a vendor’s permit approved by the City of Ada.

For identification purposes, Gert has also provided that he is driving a silver Honda Civic Coupe with Minnesota license plate KCP370.

We hope this helps our community know who they may see going door-to-door this week.

There is a risk for severe storms Tuesday evening into early Wednesday morning within portions of eastern North Dakota into northwest and west-central Minnesota. A squall line is expected to move quickly east/northeast thru the area with severe wind gusts 60 to 75 mph or higher possible. Large hail to golf balls and a tornado is also possible mainly as the line is moving thru eastern North Dakota. With this event largely occurring overnight, make sure to have a way to be alerted if a warning is issued for your area, as well as have multiple ways to receive warnings. Also, plan now and know where to go should a warning be issued for your area
