Make plans to join us at Bomgaars of Ada located at 724 Arlington Center!
Ada Oklahoma- Bomgaars is once again bringing its annual Ladies Night event to the community, combining an evening of fall shopping, festive fun and giving back to local organizations.
On Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 5-8 p.m., Bomgaars customers at all locations will have the opportunity to enjoy special savings, giveaways and an evening dedicated to supporting the communities Bomgaars is proud to serve.
As part of Ladies Night, 5% of the evening's sales will be donated to a local charitable organization in each Bomgaars community. This year, Family Crisis Center, Inc. has been selected as the recipient for the Ada community.
The donation will be presented to Family Crisis Center, Inc. in December 2026, with the amount based on sales from the local Bomgaars store during Ladies Night.
"We believe being a good neighbor means more than simply having a store in a community," said Torrey Wingert, CEO of Bomgaars. "Our communities support us throughout the year, and Ladies Night gives us an opportunity to give something back to organizations that are making a difference right here at home."
For more than eight years, Bomgaars has used Ladies Night as an opportunity to support organizations in the communities where its stores are located. What began as a way to support local cancer centers, hospitals and women's organizations has grown into an annual community-giving event across Bomgaars' store markets.
Family Crisis Center, Inc. is grateful to be part of this year's event.
Family Crisis Center provides free services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. FCC offers an emergency shelter, counseling, support groups, court advocacy, a 24/7 hotline, awareness events, and other services free of charge to those in Pontotoc, Coal, Garvin and McClain counties.
Customers are invited to join Bomgaars for an evening of shopping, savings and community support.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. 💜

Domestic violence doesn’t always look the way we expect it to.

MYTH: “If it were really abuse, they would just leave.”

FACT: Leaving an abusive relationship can be one of the most dangerous and difficult times for a survivor. Fear, financial dependence, isolation, children, threats, and many other factors can make leaving incredibly complicated.

Domestic violence is about power and control, not simply anger or an argument.

This October, let’s replace judgment with understanding, recognize the warning signs, and learn how we can be part of creating safer communities.

Listen. Believe. Learn. Speak up.

💜 Domestic violence awareness can save lives.

When a victim declines a lethality assessment or advocate call, it can be tempting to write that case off. But new research says that's exactly the wrong response.

Tomorrow, June 25 at 1:30pm CST, join us for a webinar drawing on a researcher-practitioner study of a real rural LAP program. Using ride-alongs, interviews, police records, and court outcomes, the session explores why victims may decline the LAP, and what that means for case outcomes, officer follow-up, and coordinated community response.

The data is clear: refusal is not the end of the road. It's information. Register for the free webinar here: https://bit.ly/4uSBPF9
