Ada Township residents, you can vote early for the November 3 General Election!

🗓 When: Saturday, October 24 – Sunday, November 1
🕗 Hours: 8:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. daily
📍 Where: Amy Van Andel Library, 7215 Headley St SE, Ada, MI 49301

Early voting works just like voting on Election Day. You’ll check in, get your ballot, and run it through the tabulator yourself. Skip the Election Day lines and vote on your own schedule!

As we continue celebrating America's 250th birthday, we're inviting Ada Township residents to share their favorite moments captured throughout our community! 📷

Whether it's a scenic landscape, community gathering, or special moment that captures the spirit of Ada, we want to see our community through your lens.

While all photographs are welcome, this year's contest will place special emphasis on images that reflect our nation's 250th birthday and the spirit of patriotism here in Ada Township.

Submitted photographs will be reviewed and voted on by Township staff, with the winning photograph featured on our 2027 Ada Township magnetic calendar, available at the Township offices.

🚧 Intersection Closure: 3 Mile Road & Grand River Drive

Beginning October 15, K&R and the Kent County Road Commission will fully close the intersection of 3 Mile Road and Grand River Drive to install a pipeline. This project is being carried out through the Kent County Drain Commission.

Posted detour routes will use Knapp Street and East Beltline. Please follow detour signs and allow extra travel time.

The closure is expected to last several weeks. Road reconstruction and reopening are anticipated in early November, after which construction will conclude for the season.

K&R plans to resume pipeline construction on 3 Mile Road in spring 2027, just west of Grand River Drive.

When these social media pages were originally established under the name Ada Village, the Envision Ada initiative was helping shape a more vibrant, walkable village center. The name reflected the community’s vision and the exciting transformation taking place in the heart of Ada.

Over time, these pages have grown into an important source of news, information, and updates from Ada Township’s local government, serving residents throughout our entire community.

To better reflect that purpose, we’re officially changing our social media name from Ada Village to Ada Township on both Facebook and Instagram.

While our name is changing, our commitment remains the same!

Whether you live in the village center or elsewhere in the Township, these platforms will continue to keep you informed and connected with Township news, public meetings, community events, projects, and more.
