The Grandy's are being prepared for distribution. It's not too late to enter your submission. Are you a grandparent raising your grandchildren? Are you an aunt or uncle raising your niece or nephew? Do you know of a family that fits either of these descriptions? Nominate them for a Grandy Award. The Newport County Prevention Coalition's Grandy's are awards recognizing the caregivers of Grand and Kinship families of Rhode Island. Due to a limited number of awards available, not all submissions will receive a prize. Send your nomination today. Self-Grand/Kinship family nominations are welcomed. Ask your grandparents for their "Top Tips" and share them with the community using . Together we can spread valuable lessons for a lifetime of well-being.

Grandparents are the pillars of families, providing love and wisdom for generations. Celebrate their roles by doing "Something Grand" on Sunday, September 10th, for Grandparents Day.
