Leading with Purpose. Serving with TIGER Pride !

October is **National Principals Month**, and Minor Middle School is proud to celebrate our very own, Mr. Marty Everett!

Great leadership goes beyond the office. It's demonstrated through everyday actions, meaningful connections, and a genuine commitment to student success.

Whether he's engaging with students, collaborating with teachers, supporting school initiatives, or building community partnerships, Mr. Everett continues to lead by example and make a positive impact throughout the Tiger Den.

His dedication to our students, faculty, staff, and school community reflects our district's commitment to, "Realizing Our Potential — Redefining the Standard."

Thank you, Mr. Everett, for your leadership, dedication, and unwavering Tiger Pride!

Join us in showing our principal some appreciation during National Principals Month!

HOMECOMING RECAP: SPIRIT WEEK!

The Tiger Den showed up and showed out for Homecoming Spirit Week!

Students, faculty, and staff joined in the fun with Tacky Day, Twin Day, Throwback Day, and more! From matching looks to creative throwbacks and some seriously tacky fashion 😂, our Tigers brought plenty of personality and school spirit throughout the week.

Check out a few of the moments we captured as the Tiger Den celebrated Homecoming!

SpongeBob on Trial!

Our 6th-grade students stepped into the courtroom as prosecutors and defense attorneys to determine whether SpongeBob was guilty or innocent in the murder of Mr. Eugene Crabs!

Using text evidence and A.E.C./R.A.C.E. strategies, students built their cases and presented their arguments to the jury. The prosecution made a strong case, but after hearing the evidence, the jury found SpongeBob NOT GUILTY!

Great job, 6th-grade Tigers, for bringing ELA skills to life!

A SEASON TO CELEBRATE!

Congratulations to our Minor Middle Lady Tigers Volleyball Team on a successful season! We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, teamwork, and Tiger pride our athletes displayed throughout the season.

A special thank you to Coach Sigler and Coach Yari for your continued dedication, encouragement, and support of our volleyball program. Your commitment to our student-athletes extends far beyond the court!

We also thank you for planning a beautiful 8th Grade Night to celebrate our 8th-grade players as they closed out their final volleyball season as middle school students. What a special way to honor their hard work, memories, and accomplishments before they take their next step toward high school!

POV: You Walked Into the Minor Middle Library…

…and caught our Tigers enjoying a little quality time with a good book!

Some found a quiet corner. Some read alongside friends. Some discovered something new. And some just had to show off what they were reading!

At Minor Middle, reading doesn’t have to look the same for everyone. Whether it’s at a table, in a comfy chair, or alongside a friend, every page helps build stronger readers.

Now it’s YOUR turn! What are you reading right now? Drop a picture of your book in the comments! 👇

Minor Middle H.O.P.E. Team | ALL IN

Our Minor Middle H.O.P.E. Team recently stepped into professional learning with one goal in mind; becoming even more intentional about how we serve our students, support one another, and strengthen our school community.

Through the ALL IN experience, our faculty and administrators explored the power of connection, communication, shared identity, intentional encouragement, and living out our core values.

The experience served as a powerful reminder that building a positive school culture begins within each of us. When we are intentional, connected, and committed, we create an environment where both students and staff know they are valued, supported, and needed.

At Minor Middle, we’re ALL IN for our students, our school, and our community!
